Default Oh Crap!!!!!!!

I was driving my 92 gasser on Saturday when all of a sudden smoke every where. Shut it down right away looked at the engine, Oil everywhere. The shop picked it up today. Any idea what the hell happened???

Any indications were the oil was leaking from ? Did you smell gas ?

No gas smell, could not tell where the oil was coming from it was all over the front of the motor and muffler.

There is about a 7/8" hole in the back of your block for a dipstick tube location when the motor is used for other applications besides golf carts. I would guess the rubber plug they put in it became hard with age and came out.

Or the side cover gasket blew out around the front dipstick area.

Both are kinda common.

Yuh, hello, mr MZ?, yes this is the shop we have determind that it will cost $459.99 to repair the huge oil leak in your motor. Yes, it was all we could do to save it! yes, we are hero's, yes, that's right only $459.99, ok, pick it up Friday, late Friday! thank you, bye,........(as he pushes a new rubber plug in the block)


Just kidding, Hope it is not the case.........................
