2000 DS Starting Issues
I have a 2000 DS that takes many times pushing the gas before it catches and starts, Ive cleaned the carb twice, changed the spark plug, changed the oil, filter, air filter, fuel filter. Has a new battery. Fresh Gas. When press the accelerator a couple times your can see the starter belt turning but drive belt wants to. Once the drive belt catches it will start but it takes a bit to get goin and if you place the pedal all the way down it wants to die out and will sometimes back fire. Not sure if its the starter belt needs tightened more of if the brushings need replaced. Thanks in advance.
