Default 99 club car fuel issue

99 club car runs great then no fuel in the see thru fuel filters and it dies... crank engine for a few minutes and fuel fills line and runs great until it runs out of fuel again in the line....new fuel pump, new carb, all new fuel lines and filters...blew out line that is in the tank, blew out vent lines and checked for vacuum leaks....runs for 5 minutes then dies from lack of fuel...when it dies I disconnect fuel line coming off the fuel pump and no fuel.... keep cranking and fuel comes thru and fills the line... runs great then runs out of fuel again..... Im lost as to what the issue is except to try a new fuel pump?????

Check the gas cap, it may not be venting and causing vacuum in your fuel tank. A 3 dollar fuel cap from Lowes may fix it.

Just so you know, the design of the system can lead to no fuel in the filters, that's normal.

If you didn't buy OEM parts, I hope you kept them. Carbs and fuel pumps rarely go bad.

If the cap is not the problem, I suspect the tube in the tank is either collapsing or, more likely, picking up sediment/particles from the tank. Drops back down and re-collects the crap. Totally clean it.

Could have a crack in the fuel tank down tube causing an air leak and not pumping fuel Pull it out and check it
