Pull uphill
Our Club car DS has a hard time pulling uphill in forward but, does fine in reverse. Thoughts?

Re: Pull uphill
Different gear ratios for forward and reverse. You should notice that you cant go as fast in reverse as forward.

Re: Pull uphill
I had the same problem especially after I added the quite heavy Curtis Cab. I sometimes also had a problem of belt slippage on hills. A heavy duty clutch spring and a new heavy duty belt solved the slippage issue but hill climbing is still slower than I would prefer - but better than before the clutch upgrade and new HD belt.
I think it's the old horsepower to weight ratio thing. |
