Default battery

Same 2006 club car precedent gas. A mechanic by passed the mcor under the gas peddle. i now have a push to start button cart. I push the button and the engine turns over and away i go. Its wired directly to the solenoid. i guess my question is it drains my battery after about 27 holes. i put a kill switch on the cart and it still drains the battery. If i rode it today for 27 holes and parked it and came back in a few days my battery is completely dead. even with a kill switch.

Default Re: battery

Here's why golf carts run a continuous duty solenoid what that means is when it's functioning properly with the peddle as soon as you press the peddle it engages solenoid and it stays engaged once your motor starts running your starter goes from a starter to a generator but with your push bottom start as soon as you get it running you let go of the button and it disengages the solnoid so your killing the circuit and not charging the battery
