1990 club car acts like it is running out of gas

I have drained and cleaned the gas tank replace all gas lines new fuel pump and new carb. not for sure where to go from here

Put it in maintenance mode, pull the fuel line of at carb... Press pedal a bit, Does it bubble gas?

is there a rev liminater on the 1990 club car and if so where is it located

I have a 1998 DS doing the same thing; runs then stalls. Takes a bit then it runs again. Not like it stops and will refire when turned over. Fuel pump pushes gas in service mode so I am thinking carb? Could the rev limiter be the culprit? I assumed ignition to be OK since it runs? Figured it wouldn't run at all if the ignition was bad. Thoughts?

The rev limit is on the bottom front of engine, above the hole in floor pan for.


But I think it stops the spark not gas...

So let's start over... We have gas to carb, we are assuming that is getting through your new carb to engine.

Buy a in line spark tester and see if you get a spark.

FYI, cheap Chinese carbs 12buck - 20 bucks have been known to have metal shavings in them from the manufacturing... You need to take it apart and clean it.
