2006 gas Precedent will not shut off Just idling
I have a 2006 Club Car Precedent that was working fine then all of a sudden after a quick ride to the beach and back, I pulled into the driveway and released the gas pedal and the engine did not shut off. I turned the key to the off position and that did nothing. I then though maybe the gas pedal was stuck so I pulled up on it and it is still idling. I can drive the cart in both forward and reverse with out issue it just wont shut off. Any help would be appreciated.

Shut the fuel off first. Are you sure it is running, or just the starter/gen spinning over?

make sure its in neutral and unhook the battery.

Not sure about the electronics on that particular cart but sounds like a stuck solenoid.

Ok so i just got back up here and the motor is not runnimg just the starter generator spinning. Key is off cart is in neutral and it just spins.

Replace the solenoid. Get the proper one for your cart.
