06 starter generator wont shut off

I have a 2006 gas Club Car Precedent FE350 that was working fine then all of a sudden after a quick ride to the beach and back, I pulled into the driveway and released the gas pedal and the Starter/generator did not shut off. I turned the key to the off position and that did nothing. Motor is not running just the s/g. I can drive the cart in both forward and reverse with out issue it just wont shut off. Any help would be appreciated.

Lift the small wires off one side of the solenoid, if does not stop after that you probably have a stuck solenoid. If you replace the solenoid be sure you get a constant duty solenoid, preferably an oem club car unit. The solenoid is located in the electrical box under your seat. If it's not the solenoid I don't have a clue because I don't have much knowledge about a precedent.

Also check your microswitches to see if one of them is broken and stuck open.
