Default 92 ds sparks sometimes

Ok I need a little help.
I got a 92ds I built up for a lady at the campground
Lift, tires, paint, lights, also changed crank seal and base gasket.
So she calls says cart don't run
I stop over a corroded microswitch looks like the problem (broken off wire) connect wire then the cart has spark
So I order a micrswitch and replace and no spark
Take the cart home and the *** thing starts and drives off the trailer.
Put cart in the garage check it later it won't start.
It does this random thing we're it will start (have spark) drive for a minute or so then die and have no spark
Also it seems to be a little lower on power than when I sold it to her
Fe 290
So I am at a loss does anyone have any good ideas?

Check the ground strap from the S/G to the frame, it's braided steel, covered with a sheath, and give it a good tug!
It's pretty common for them to break at one of the eyelets after installing a lift because they're not all that long.
Even if it "seems" intact, add another ground strap from the engine to the frame.

So I did the ground and that is not the problem.
Took the kids on a ride died 1 mile from my house.
Within 3 minutes it started back up.
Pulled into my yard I let it shut off and it stopped and kinda dieseled for a second or two.
I started it right back up and let it die and it diesels again.
Really don't think it has anything to do with the micro switches, starting to think it is ignition problems.
Any suggestions?

I know this has nothing to do with fire, but how old is the gas? Have you put a new plug in it?

Sounds like it is wet fouling the plug. Replace it. Look at the old one see what it looks like. Choke is air box, make sure something is not clogged/hanging up.

It is losing spark sometimes when I drive wide open even. Running perfectly then just nothing. I will try a new plug today and report back.

It has an ignitor behind the rev limiter on the lower front of the engine, (#18 )
the ignitor could be failing, or the attached wires could be grounding.

Ok so one question the only wire from the cart to the engine is white goes from the micro switches to the Rev limiter or ignitor is just a ground to shut the engine off right? That way I can eliminate the wiring and switches before the engines ignition system by testing
Thanks
