Default Club car xrt 1500 engin swap advice

Hello I have a club car xrt1500 that had a Honda gx620 with a tapered shaft that has no compression. I have managed to find a new gx620 but it has a 1" straight shaft. I am trying to figure out how to make this work since the tapered shaft clutch will not fit. I have just purchased a clutch from buggies unlimited but It is looking like it is not going to work either due to the original belt being too wide and alignment of the clutches is giving me some fits.

Dose and one have a suggestion of a different clutch to try. May be one off of a snowmobile ? Atv ?
Thank you for you help

Why not fix original engine, probably just needs the valves set

Welcome to The Forum,
If I understand this correctly the drive clutch fits the motor correctly, but is not lining up with the driven clutch in the rear, and you think the belt is too wide,

Replace the driven clutch on the rear, to adapt for The Wider belt. You might have to Waller (wonders if Waller is even a word?) the holes on the engine plate to get better alignment.
