FE 290 no vacuum
I have this 84 clubcar just got it. has no vacuum to the fuel pump. oil everywhere. I am thinking a crankseal may be out or something. anyone ever ran into this.
just a couple of fyi's.... pump works on another cart.... cart runs when pressure is applied into tank, thus gas flows thru pump. cant keep cart running long enough find all the oil issues. thx in advance. |

Re: FE 290 no vacuum
That's crazy, I have had a similar issue, but for me it was oil in the vacuum line, I literally had to take the old line off just so I could drain it, before I put it back on I shortened it to where there were no bends in it, pretty much a straight shot from the engine to the pump.
I haven't had that problem since, as far as how the oil got there I have no clue but I do know that was what was keeping me from getting vacuum. |
