Default Where do i go from here?

i'm needing some help This is what ive done so far and made sure everything was hooked up exactly the way it was when disassembled. Cart ran fine before. Okay, took starter off and had rebuilt. Hooked all wires back up according to CC wiring diagram (also had photos before took off)Replaced fuel lines, filters etc. Did tune up and oil changes before putting cart on stands for clutch removal. Cleaned and rebuilt carb. It's finally warm enough to work on cart so I just put a new Interstate battery in it this morning and nothing! It will turn over if I jump screwdriver across solenoid in black box but I don't have any spark. Took plug out and turned over and sprayed fuel out hole. Came in here to see if I could search for ideas so went back out and disconnected Rev limiter brown wire. ....nothing. Check fuse, still good. I never messed with any wires other than the led underbody lights and ran head/tail light harness but they are just installed and not even hooked up.
Any ideas of what to check or replace? DH had to go squirrel hunting today so I'm on my own!

You put the belt back on, right?, when you replaced the starter? Ha.
If the cart ran fine before, why did you decide to have the starter rebuilt?

It turns over when jumping across solenoid, but no spark. I disconnected Rev limiter ground wire, cleaned all grounds with brass brush...nothing

Check micro switches and wiring in the black control box. Did you have any of that apart in what you did?

no, the only time I was ever in the black box was to pull the black wire off bottom micro so it would idle. Now that I'm having problems, I hooked it back up. When jumping across the solenoid with screwdriver, it turns engine but no spark to plug.

In order to eleminate other wiring/switch problems, I would unplug the 'kill' wire (the plug is around the shift linkage in the rear of cart) and try again

I just replaced both micro switches and still nothing. We tested solenoid orange and blue wires with key on and when pushing pedal, voltage didn't change. DH stuck screwdriver down by micro switches and the pedal turned the engine over? Still no spark though. What gives it spark? What can I check or replace to give spark?

The coil gives it spark.

You keep saying when you use a screwdriver to jump across the solenoid, so it does nothing when you push the pedal?

You also said it ran fine before but it is warm enough now to work on it. Does ran fine before mean right before you started working on it or a few months ago?

Yes, it does nothing with the pedal but will turn over when jump across solenoid. But, my husband stuck the screw driver down on the micro switches and the pedal would turn it over?

And yes, all was fine a few months ago before I put it on jack stands and removed clutches, starter etc.

I have on back order a manual but found a service manual on line that I printed off the electrical troubleshooting section so we can check everything.
I'm sure it's probably something simple, I just haven't figured it out yet! I've printed off the whole troubleshooting section of a 2000 FE290 M/service supplement so I've got a lot of reading to do! Sucks that I took off work today with the weather being 60*.....not looking good in the near future for working on it again!

I was so looking forward to having this thing fire up so I could move on to the dash/lights etc.....oh well, wasn't in the cards I guess..lol
