Default 94 Club Car DS No Spark

So, I managed to get the Club Car Cranking in Neutral only, for now. so issues number 1 is I'm guessing I need to replace both of those limit switches.
And issue number 2 is that it's not getting spark. After digging a little deeper, I realized that it appears the rev limiter is missing. would this keep it from creating a spark? If so in there anyway to bypass for now to test the engine to try and get it to start?

I couldn't get your pics to open using Google! (give it a few more days!)

It sounds like you've found out how to get your cart in Maintenance Mode, if it cranks in neutral and not F or R.
(it's normal operation, and the micro's may be o.k.!)

IF... the rev limiter is missing, (#16) most likely the ignitor (#18 ) is missing also, (mounted underneath the limiter)
and that may be the cause of your "no spark"!

Thanks, I am missing both for sure. I do have the black wire with two female bullet connectors. Going to the flywheel side of the engine and a male bullet connector on a white wire from the opposite side.

The ignitor is necessary to get spark!
and from what I understand, most weed whacker ignitors will work for cheap!
(for 2 prong ignitors, it will be trial and error to find out which prong to use.)
It also may be a good idea to relocate the ignitor to an easier grounded access point with a longer wire w/bullet connector.
(it's usually the first part to go bad)

Rev limiters are STUPID expensive new!
You can get by without one, as long as your governor settings are still stock,
But, you won't know that until you get it running.
