Default Carry all 1

One of my fellow islanders dropped of a club car carry all 1 for me to repair. It is serial # FRM1675031. The engine tag says it is an fe350 however the rotted out exhaust system looks like the fe 290's. Would a 290's exhaust system be on a 390 ? What year cart is this ? I need help.

Your gonna need to double check the serial number Ray, that number isn't the serial number!
It'll be under the passenger glove box, either a metal tag, or a white bar code tag.
It should read something like: FG0126-123456
FG = Carryall 1 gas
01 = 2001
26 = week of production

As for the 290/350 exhausts, I've never tried a 290 on my 350,
but it's always been to my understanding that they're 2 different animals.

Great when you know where to look. FG0722-763488. GEEZ I guess this thing is a 2007. You can see it has had a rough life. Thanx Lockman

Yup... It needs a new exhaust!
Sadly, used ones are few and far between, and new ones can be fairly expensive!

The replacement 350 units I found didn't have the heat shielding and had more of a triangular mount rather than just a strap that this one has to the cylinder head. Any suggestions on where to buy a new one ? P.S If you think what you see is bad the muffler itself has a softball sized hole in it.

Pulled the exhaust system out of the carry all this a.m. Fortunately the builder's cart that I sometimes service is right over on the next street. I see the FE290 in his cart has the same exhaust system as this Fe 350 has on it. Ordered one and hope all works out.

Wait... What hole?

If it had a 290 exhaust on it before, (which that is) you should be good to go!

(I learn something new on this forum everyday!)
