1991 Rev limiter disabling question
Hello
Looking at the picture, does anyone know which of the wires need to be unplugged to disable the rev limiter? |

For the 90 & 91 KF82 flatheads I’ve never found a way to disable the rpm limiter. You have 3 wires from the exciter / pulsar - all of them required to provide the power and time the spark. The ignition coil has just two wires. However, the earlier (84 to 89) coil will plug right in to the 3 wire harness plug and work fine - just loses the RPM limiter function.
