Takes about 20 second to get rolling!! Please help!
Went out for a cruise last night I notice the golf cart started hesitating as I stopped and started. Saw some friends stopped and talked for a couple minutes. Pushed the gas pedal it just turned over and ran like I need to choke it on a cold day. After about 20 second with the pedal down it would start going. It ran fine until you stopped for a minute. Smelled like has bad. I did some research on here and people said solenoid does that sound about right ? Thank you for any advice this is a great forum!

Could be the solenoid, but more than likely the starter/generator brushes are just worn. Theyre grafite and meant to wear down over time. About $15-$20 for a set and an hour or so of your time to replace. Plenty of YouTube help out there if you've never done this job before.
Cart specifics would help though (make/model/year) and if the S/G has ever been replaced/repaired to your knowledge. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk |
