Default Gas engine upgrade for 97 Club Car advice

I have a 1997 Club Car that I want to change over to a 20 hp or better gas engine. Can anyone help me with the best engine set up for this conversion, and the best place to make the purchase?

CC John would know better on the speed. As far as the lift I would recomend staying away from the spindle lifts. They don't handle well at speeds.

Oh Yeah, Welcome to the forum...

I'll suggest getting an All Sports 6 or 7.5 Super Sport lift!

Easy bolt up kit, and pretty darn durable!

Here's the 7.5 SS on my buddy Steves cart!
So far, he's beating it pretty hard and it's holding up VERY well!
