Default cc ds loss of power going up hill

ok , i have a 89 CC ds gas, 3 inch lift. when on flat land it goes about 20 21 mph as i go up a incline(decent size ) cart slows down to a crawl and starts to shake then come to a compete stop. so i changed out both clutches thinking that would fix my problem..No tried to climb hill again cart slowed down and started to shake again. I have a kaw motor called flathead????? has this happen to anyone i heed help

It’s not a hill where it goes to flat to hill, it a hill (grass) that gradually goes up. What are your thoughts

If my SWAG is correct, that hill is roughly 40-43 degrees. I don't know if that cart is supposed to climb something like that. Dang. Pretty steep. I'll have to check into this a bit.

Off the top of my head I think it's a bit too steep.

I would not expect either one of my flathead carts with 22" tires to make it up a hill that steep, and wouldn't be surprised if an OHV motor couldn't do it either. Sounds like you just replaced two perfectly good clutches.

No the clutches both had grooves on the side walls. Ok Do u think I should have changed the belt also? My cart goes at least 20 mph on flat ground, but whenever I have to put a load on cart it seems like it has not enough power to get over a curb.... I don’t no what else to do
