Just unhook the ubolts, shock nut, and the bolt in front and rear of the leaf springs. Chances are that you are not going to get the bolt out of the front of the leaf springs, if you do your are the luckiest man alive!!! The rear normally comes out pretty easy. If you have any problems with the front one, just cut the bolt off on the insides of the aluminum housing of the leaf spring!!

Good luck to you, and make sure that you post pics!!!!

Thanks for the help will try that this weekend . I got the cart for $250 it needed a coil so Iam going to replace it with a 97 coil , picked up 4 23 inch tires on 12 inch rims for $55. Then got the lift kit for $125 . I think I am hooked on this . My girlfriend owns a sign shop she is going to put a wrap on the cart for me next month . will post more pics

Well could not wait to lift the cart . I switched the leaf springs to over the axel , still need the rear spacers . Then I put a 2 1/2 inch spacer in the front just until I get the lift kit . still needs to be a little higher . I like the tires but not the rims looks like I will have to get new rims. More pics to come .

To get the front bolts out, use a 8" C clamp and oversize socket. After you remove the nut put a socket on the head side and screw the clamp pushing the bolt until it's even with the hanger. Spray some WD40 on it and tap it back in than use the C clamp again to push it back out. You should than be able to grip the inch or so with vice grips and wiggle it out. Kinda like a ball joint press. My 99CC had just enough room for the C clamp but it worked.

Hammer,

I have the same cart. On the front, did you just put the spacer between the frame and leaf spring. How did it ride with that spacer because I just want to lift my cart about 2-3 inches. Please keep us posted with pics.

im with you i've been on a build project for about a month now and just came across my first real problem tonight with those front bolts on the spindles. I spent an hour scratching my head and trying everything i could think of. if someone could give some good advice on that i'd be thrilled. i already bought new bolts and i grinded the head off one side to try and push it through but it wouldn't budge. i off set a c-clamp and tried to push it out but i split the clamp before it even thought about pushing the bolt.
