Default Re-powering the Carryall

I bought a 91 Carryall 1 without a motor. I have pressure-washed it and ordered a motor. Yeasterday a 13hp Max Power clone showed up on my door step. I have been re-reading all of the clone threads..a couple of questions still remain. I assume the stock throttle cable can be rigged directly to the carb because on one said otherwise. There was a lot of talk about the fuel supply.....I would like to go with a small electric pump on the stock tank. How's that working for you, Doolin? What belts have you guys ended up using? I hope to get into this this weekend

You should be able to reuse the stock acel.cable it worked for me when I put
a Kawasaki 20 hp in my carryall, just had to relocate the eng.acel.cable bracket.
The fuel pump I used was for a Kawasaki mule 3010 ,john deer gator uses the same pump check on ebay.

I bought it on ebay and the price was $344 delivered. It was a California outlet so engine is Calif. compliant...for about a year we couldn't get them here because of the clean air requirements ....I got my Comet clutches and slipped them on. 94-C on the Drive and 207915A Driven. Then I put the engine in the hole. The starter bumps the rear end so I had to space them a bit further apart than the original. There is plenty of room but I had to go find a longer drive belt....A check of the Nivel book showed nothing GC stock fit. I ended up finding a list of belts Artic Cat uses...It is a long list and you can find whatever you might need on it........Ordered a belt now, I will wait for it to arrive....Meantime I have to find a accelerator cable as mine is missing?

Did the driven clutch need to be changed out for the "207915A" unit? Wasnt sure if there was a need to do it or if there was a performance benefit to do it. Just curious.

Hey all. No update ...... I'm waiting on a v belt. It should be here any day, now. The reason I changed the driven is because the original was broken. 2 out of the three fingers were broken off of it.... Well I have gotten my hands on an original accel cable but it doesn't look very promising.... It is about a foot long and has two hard metal tubing 90s in it
More later when something happens

The belt came in today....I got a Dayco HP 3004. 44 1/8 length...My Ezgo 42 inch belt fit on but the starter solenoid was hitting the transaxle. This 2 inch longer belt will give me 1 inch of clearance. More room than I needed but okay. So I was test fitting the motor and clutches this evening. This is what it looked like.....I know the belt is on backwards, looks like this drive clutch bolt is going to be real close to the frame....
