Tire clearance?
Hi all,
Thanks for the help, I ended up buying the Carryall2. It is a 1987. Awesome shape, runs great, no smoke, tight front end, carries some serious weight. Got it for $900. Question: What is the largest (tallest) tire that I can get on the rears? I want something more agressive than the stock turf saver cart tires that are on there, and while doing so, I thought I could squeeze something a little bigger on there to help with ground clearance without doing a lift kit. I don't need mudbogger trailblazer crazy agressive tires, just more agressive and bigger than stock. Recommendations? Thanks. Rob |

Re: Tire clearance?
Most carts can squeeze a 20" tire 9 1/2 wide on them but you might be able to go bigger with that one. Can you post up some pics?

Re: Tire clearance?
i have a carryall2 as well.. that is stock height... and i put 20X10 on the stock rims... in the rear.. and then skinnier tires in the front but in the rear the 20X10's will work out great! the bed is off at the moment due to that cart being stripped for an engine swap... but im sure you get the general idea.. and that cart is a 95... hope that helps!!!

Re: Tire clearance?
Very nice!
It is not lifted at all? What is an XRT edition? How well does the plow set-up work? Thanks !! Rob |

Re: Tire clearance?
Don't think it's lifted looks all stock to me.I'm not sure what all the differences
are between the xrt and reg carryall. some things are bigger tires, brush bar, transaxle gearing 12-1 forward /17-1 reverse, 4 wheel drum brakes, some had locker rear ends. The plow set up works great, had it out in 8 inch of snow pushed it with no problem. The best thing I like about it is the electric ram to angle the blade. I'll post some better pic's when I get home from work. |
