Default 92 ds need help running

K this 92 ds 290 is not letting me win.
Specs
165 compression
Checked valve clearance
Cleaned kawi carb like 4 times
Also tried eBay China carb (ran worse)
Good fuel flow
Replaced ignitor
Replacemed with Kawasaki coil new
Unhooked white wire from cart, to make sure it was not loosing spark at speed.
That caused the engine to keep running when I let of the accelerator

The cart will start and run, but does not get up to speed, stutters
I usually don’t quit but this cart has me frustrated
Any advice or were to turn would help

Make sure throttle linkage/governor is opening as it should.

So it runs decent in maintenance mode just not when it's under load? Did I read that right?

Maybe the OEM kawi carb is just worn out or has a crack.or something internal you cant see? I've got a spare FE290 carb you're welcome to try if youd like. It needs a good cleaning but I can always drop it in the cleaner for ya. If it doesnt make a difference you can just send it back.

Are you sure it's not a clutch issue? I've seen clutch problems make you think theres an engine problem.

I think you were right.
I did the zip tie mod to the governer and now the butterfly opens up more. I also lubed up the cable from the governer to carb.
I don’t like to be wrong but I looked at the cable but did not really look at the cable.
Thanks guys.

Well I may have spoken to soon
Brought it to the camp and it was still not running right.
Cp does that offer still stand for the carb?
I also think that the primary clutch it opening up to quick, limiting the little torque that this motor has. I think I will order a torque spring for the primary clutch.
