Default CC DS Rear seat question

Hello,
I have an 2002 DS that I'm about to purchase a rear seat for. Is there a difference between the 93 - 2000.5 and the 200.5 and up in regards to the rear seats?

Im just not well versed in the differences between the CC years
Thanks!

Yes. The seat backs and seat back brackets are completely different. You'd have a hard time installing the wrong year setup... not to say it's impossible but it would take some creativity.

Easiest way to tell... 2000 and earlier has 2 individual back rests on the original factory front seat. The 2000.5 and up has one long back rest. Also the roof supports on the earlier ones are aluminum, and the later ones are steel. The later roofs have grab handles on the sides, etc.

If you have a 2002 you'll want to stick with the 2000.5 and up style back seat.

Just to add, if your cart is not lifted, you may also want to get either HD springs, or make an extended set of shackles for the rear leaf springs or you may run into rubbing issues on the rear tires with the additional weight. Those back seats are heavy...

Do not buy a gusto seat. That's what I got with mine, it is junk. Flexes, and had started cracking the main seat plate
