Default Tried but just can't find an OEM starter

Quickly received my starter/generator from "Buggies Unlimited" I checked a few other places with various results and ended up choosing an " AMD Nidec Starter Generator - For Club Car With Key Start mainly because it was High output at idle starter generator" which I converted my carryall a number of years ago to a key start. Anyway as many had told me I have only ever really had trouble with the Chinese starter-gens bought from a couple of different sources paid fro the first would get warranted for the second and maybe even a third at one place. Anyway I decided this time to get an OEM was told they were the only ones that last tried and tried couldn't find one decided on 2 of the sponsors of this site because I trust them they both came up with this manufacturer said by buggies unlimited tech to be American made I swore no more Chinese stuff tired of changing them once a year. Chose Buggies unlimited purely for price 270.95 and low and behold this one made in china also lol. Yes I am going to use it because I could find an OEM anyway but man don't we actually make anything in the states anymore?

https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/

Any OEM club car part can be had there.

Or the buy/sell section here. I think I have 2 or 3 spare OEM starter/generators laying around... And I'm sure I'm not the only one here that does

Yes, alot of the OE club car starter gens are "Made in China" but they're made to Club Car OE standards, not aftermarket rip-off junk standards.

Just because it says made in china doesn't necessarily mean it's junk. The chinese are fully capable of producing high quality parts, and have the largest industrial production industry in the world. But the majority of stuff that gets shipped and sold here due to the lower cost, is usually lower quality.

If David said that one's good, I would take his word for it.

I just checked, all 3 of mine are made in Korea by Mando.

That doesnt mean anything though, club car has probably changed suppliers several times over the years. AMD makes good stuff, I'd think that one you have should be fine.

Also just because it says made in china doesnt mean its junk. The cheap knock off stuff on Ebay yes. But OEM stuff is a completely different ball game. Half the stuff in american cars from the factory is made in china. Especially electronics. Radio, computers, lights, instrument panel... youd be surprised.
