Anyone ever shorten a carryall 6

Can anything be done to shorten this thing?

I can’t understand why you would want to, but simple answer is, not easily.

If you need a shorter cart, sell that one and buy a shorter cart.

That's what I was thinking. That's a nice specialty vehicle. I'm sure someone would pay a good price for it and then buy what you want.

Is it gas or electric? How are your fabrication/welding skills? I’m usually not a fan of the whole “sell it and buy what you want” response, but in this case, I’m sure your cart could demand a much higher premium than its two-seater counterpart, you’d probably end up with extra cash or a nicer cart, and way less headaches.

The reason I am asking is I put a want ad for a cab for my DS and this guy offered this up. It’s about 2 1/2’ longer than what I have and thought the extra length could be just blank real estate. I’m good with fabrication, built numerous cars over the years from the ground up. I just figured I’d ask, never know.
