golf cart 4 lug wheel fit boat trailer 4 lug?
.
I'd like to put extra cart wheel/tires on a small trailer made of a boat trailer that is for sale on FB. I don't have the trailer to measure the pattern. (I'd only use trailer around farm) Will they interchange? |

Possibly. But without being able to measure them our guess is as good as yours.

I don't know about that trailer, but I once did this in an emergency situation to get a boat and trailer off the highway. It fit fine on the 4 lug boat trailer.

Re: golf cart 4 lug wheel fit boat trailer 4 lug?
Probably. Golf cart 4 lug pattern is 4x 4”.
Most trailer 4 lug patterns are either 4x4 or 4x 4.25”. A small boat trailer is probably the 4x4 pattern. Just measure across center to center on the studs. If it’s not you can measure the bearings and order a 4x4” hub kit with bearings for about $25 per side from e-trailer. |

Re: golf cart 4 lug wheel fit boat trailer 4 lug?
That's what I did and it measured out so I got it this morning. Already widened the axle by 4" to allow for wider tires, put them on, looks great. It'll make a great trailer to pull behind cart once I re-engineer and rebuild it... This weekend I built a receiver hitch for my 2003 CC. It's bolted to frame about behind rear axle rather than weak parts at rear. Really nice
