Starting Problem
Hello Im new sorry for the long Post.Im working on a 2000 resort villager It wont start when the throttle pedal is pushed but it will start with the key and giving it some throttle but when you let the key back it quits. Do some of these not start with the pedal but just the key. and should it keep running when you let the key back to the on pos. And is there any wiring diagams for this year on here I couldnt find any with a search.

Re: Starting Problem
Were you trying to run it in neutral? Did you put it in service mode? To do this lift the seat and right above where the shifter goes in the body, there is a little yellow, spring loaded knob. Pull this out a little and rotate it about 1/2 turn until it slides back in. Now you can run it in neutral. To get it to run in gear, repeat the process.
