1998 ezgo gas no start but turns over okay.

I'm new to the ezgo so i need help. Turns over okay sound like its starting but no go, sometimes if I keep turning over it will start after 5 or more min . Is this the ignitor? How can I test it?

If you're getting good spark you won't need to test it. Have you checked for spark at the plugs? Put your cart in neutral, remove a plug, put the plug cap on it, ground it to the head and turn it over. It should have a small blueish spark. Remove the plug and test a new plug. If you don't have spark with either, you need to check other electrical components.
On the home page, under EZ GO Gas, there is "tech section", there are manuals available there that will tell you how and what to test.
If you have spark you probably need to adjust the valves. That info is in the same section. They will go out of adjustment.

Oh, Please don't run the starter for more than 1 minute at a time. Let it cool. It could burn up and they are $$. Good luck!
