93 club car carryall 1 micro switch
There is a micro switch under the cart, what i belive to not start the cart until the brakes are off. there are 2 wires corroded off,1 orange with white stripe,1 green with stripe.the micro switch has 1 side "common" and 1 side "normally closed".my questions are what wire goes where? and would this switch stop the cart from running? thanks to the cart dude with out the wiring plan i would not have gotten this far.

Re: 93 club car carryall 1 micro switch
THe carryall will start with the brakes on. Do you have tail lights? THat sounds like a tail light switch. THere are 2 micros in the black box at the end of the gas peddle linkage which control the signal to start......hope this helps.
On the brake switch it doesn't matter which connect to which just use the common and the normally open as closed should give a positive continuity test at the switch. |

Re: 93 club car carryall 1 micro switch
The 2 micros in the black box are stacked and operate from the gas peddle. Check continuity at the F&R micros first.... then the 2 in the box. One is on positive current to fire the starter solenoid. The other on negative current to ground the engine spark when off.... So they are wired opposite current and function...(normally open vs normally closed. Hope this isn't too confusing?
