ezgo workhorse with carburetor leak
need some help. i have a 2001 ezgo workhorse with a 295cc. i was having problems with the way it ran so i swap out the man fuel pump for a small electric that i had, that seem to do it i ran it for a week then let my friend use it at the fair for 4 days and when he went to unload it at my house it started leaking gas at the carb. on the side of the carb is two small ports that look like vac. inlits but nothing it connected to them. the gas is comming out of these two ports. please help thanks a lot bruce dye

1 - you cart has a 350cc, 11 hp
2 - your carb is full of fuel as your electric pump must be pumping too much fuel |

Yes, the stock punp provides about 1 pound of pressure max..... the pump is overwhelming the float valve!

it has a 295 cc in it it is stamped on the engine and the tag on the cart says 9 hp.
why did it just start doing it. it has probley 25 hours of use with the electric pump |

i have never seen a stock ez go carb work well with an elect fuel pump! replacing the factory pump should solve your leaking.

OK - All workhorse cart originally came with a 350 starting around 1996. Sounds like this one has had some parts replacement before your time. You need to go back to a stock fuel pump. Why now after 25 hours? Who knows, it's what sounds the most obvious though...
