Default Tire size

I have a 1996 ds cart, I need a more aggressive tire in the back can anybody give me any ideas....Also without putting in a lift kit what would be the biggest tire i could put on witout running into problems.

10/03/09 with no responses?? One slipped though the cracks, I guess..
The biggest (tall) would be a 20" and sometimes they will hit. Depends on how new the suspension is and what you're going over. You may be able to use a wider tire with an offset wheel. You can't do much without a lift of some kind.

We have used some 18 inch knobby tires with good results on alot of customer carts that needed a more aggressive tire, but did not want a lift. I think they are made by Carlisle if I remember correclty.

You can put anything you want on it, without a lift. Just cut off the fenders, add some spacers and offset wheels. I could make them swampers fit

just watch out for the fuel tank when trimming,or learn like i did

I just put a 12 inch long bimetal 12 tooth per inch blade in the sawzall .... I said Earl, ...hold my beer ....
