Another issue, I have a 5 second delay when I push the gas to when the S/G turns over
What could cause this?

Try loosing up that belt just a bit and see if that doesn't help this?

Its a 87 CC with a 92 FE290 in it. Starter belt was worn, replaced it. Other issues were just missing a brake drum, driven clutch was missing buttons, and it rattels big time. |
