90 club car front wheeel bearings

I've installed a Allsport lift on the cart and I need to replace the bearings and seals in the front hubs. Does anyone have any parts numbers for these that I may be able to use to cross reference at a local RV place or auto parts store??

You might be able to find them on the bearings and seals when you remove them.
Be sure to post your findings, info like this usually gets made a stickie.

Front bearings 74-02 CC G&E:

LM 11949 - Bearings (4)
LM 11910 - Cup/Race (4)

Seal:
1013135 - (Club Car OEM)
SEL CCO 3995 - (not sure if this is an aftermarket #)

Note: If you replace your bearings... replace the races also!

Those bearing/race numbers sound familiar, maybe small trailer axle?

Could be...

I got the numbers off of my CC dealers website,
as far as I know, they're not uncommon bearings!

i drilled the cap on mine and put a grease fitting

Well... that's an idea... but no offense, it's not a good one!

I'm guessing you wanted to do something similar to a "Bearing Buddy"
I can name a number of reasons why it's not a good idea, but I'm not going to!

If it's not a a boat trailer, frront wheel bearings should ALWAYS be individually packed!
and they should be done every 2 to 5 years! (depending on how much the cart is used!)

I know this from experience!

Well...

When you start to fill it with a grease gun,
it'll probably create enough pressure to pop the bearing cap off!

A "Bearing Buddy" has a spring in it that forces the grease throughout the hub,
to the inside bearing, thus keeping water out! (a good thing for boat trailers)
My guess is, that with just a zirc fitting on the cap, grease won't get to the inside bearing!

You should always... ALWAYS... remove the bearings from the hub,
Clean the old grease off, so you can inspect the condition of the bearings,
and, either repack them by hand with new grease, or with a bearing packer!

If they're just left in the hub and greased, a bearing can go bad and you'll never know it until it's too late!

Any Chilton/Haynes auto repair book explains bearing packing in pretty good detail!
