Question Speed!

Recently bought a 1988 cc gasser but the problem is that its only goin 10.5 mph is there anyway i can make it go faster without messing with the governer or rpm limiter to much even a couple mph would be all I need.

Just lengthening the brass rod between the gas pedal and the black box got me about 2mph. Also check your drive belt.

Check and make sure your belt is riding up to at least 1/2 inch to the top of the drive clutch. Mine was slow and I found out the clutch was worn out and not allowing the belt to ride up to the top of the clutch. Had it rebuilt and got an extra 6mph. Have it machined and get even more!!
