I know that EZGO has a two stroke motor that is pedal start. Maybe someone on here has one and could share a picture of its set up and discription of its operation. My parents have a 2 stroke but they are 1300 miles from here. Someone on here should have a few ideas that you could choose from. Maybe stop by the local dealer and get some suggestion. Great cart! Looks like a lot of fun!

That picture with the Jegs starter looks more like a reverse Idea.
You could adapt the original starter generator to the motor if you still have the small belt pulley on the clutch. Couple of people have done it here. |

the rotex 500 2 stroke should be bulet proof if the trans plant into the cart was done well, post some pics of the engine, and we'll be able to see if anything looks wrong.
