1984 fuel pump
I have a 1984 club car that and am having a problem locating a replacement fuel pump for it. does anyone know where to locate one?
The problem with the one i have is that it does not continue to pump fuel to the carb and runs intermittently. any direction would be much appreciated. Thanks |

Foot go to the Yamaha section and see the sticky about fuel pump you may only need a clean up.

hey thanks guys - it is driving me crazy looking for this replacement fuel pump - clearly the relay in my pump is fried and a clean up/ rebuild aint gonna happen. if i cannot buy one does anyone have any suggestions on a mod or solution??
i really like this site ... thanks to all who started it and help with replies. peace and happy new year |

thanks scotty - when i bench test this one it just pops and sparks a bit then does nadda.
any other suggestions? |

The pump should pump until the float in the carb bowl closes. Then the back pressure will shut the pump off until the carb calls for more fuel.... It is a great little system. ....

I would try to fix that one before I would replace it. It is a lucas if I remember right?
