Re: club car key start
OK, figured it out....... take the black cover off the solenoid box.... find the two micro switches, unplug the black wire from the micro switch on the bottom.... the cart will now start with the pedal, and run until you shut the key off, or put it in neutral, or reverse.....
works good, but the idle will need to be adjusted..... see picture bellow http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/attac...fe290-carb.jpg its #9 in the picture.......(thanks lockman1) |

Re: club car key start
I just performed this mod on my cart and really like it!!! We do a lot of riding in town and not having it die at every stop sign is great. It does look like it will cause premature wearing of the drive belt. For anyone who has had this mod for a while, have you experienced this?

Re: club car key start
snowmobiles have the same clutch system, dont see why this would cause the belt to wear... snowmobiles will idle
