INSTALLING a new FLOOR MAT
Hi:
I have a 1989 CLUB CAR and I wanted to install a "new" rubber floor mat. It looks like I have to remove the Gas & Brake pedal? If so, how do I do it? Is it difficult? How long does it take? |

Re: INSTALLING a new FLOOR MAT
I found it easier to take the brake pedal out when I installed mine. I never had any luck any other way....although some say they have done it.

Re: INSTALLING a new FLOOR MAT
Thanks.
How do you remove the BRAKE PEDAL? I guess the mat will slip over the gas pedal. Thank you |

Re: INSTALLING a new FLOOR MAT
you will also need to remove the two bolts down low by the mat holding the rear body on, because the body holds the matt on

Re: INSTALLING a new FLOOR MAT
Thanks.
I checked with a lot of people and there is NO WAY to REMOVE the GAS PEDAL OR BRAKE PEDAL (because they are rivoted to the body). YOU have the put a big slit in the new rubber mat and and to me its NOT WORTH it! I even emailed a few people selling MATs and they told me the same thing. ANYONE ELSE experienced the same thing..... I am surprise this post hasnt gotten more responses? is there another golf cart website with more experts? Thanks!! |

Re: INSTALLING a new FLOOR MAT
NO there is not!
I'm surprised you are still sitting waiiting for somebody to spoon feed you the answer Go out and crawl under the old cart and see what needs to be done to remove the peddle assembly yourself It is not rocket science and yes it does come off........ but it is not simple |
