Default oil coming from rear transaxel

This is the deal I changed my rearend oil and it took a little over 2 quarts to fill it up. The next day I go out and I have a drop of oil under my 1986 gas clubcar. I found it coming from a bolt on top of the rear axel R/H side. see attached picture. What does or is this bolt for. I think I might have a serious problem or a bad seal???????

I've got my 90 model ear axle out, and it doesn't have that bolt either. Perhaps place a copper washer under the bolt. If that doesn't fix it, clean it good with a solvent (Carb cleaner works great) and smear a coat of silicone sealant on it.

you axle should have a 2 peice or 2 chamber set up that takes around 2 qts total. theres a top half, or the "trans" porton, and a bottom half or the "differential" or rear end portion" if you look at the top half one the one side you wil see the fill drain plugs and on the oppistiet side, there should be a set of fill drain plugs.
i am only assuming here but did you put both qts in the bottom?
iwould have no idea why there is a plug or scre in the tube liek that. i might suggest putting a pan under it and pull it out. see if its a self tapping screww or a bolt, or a fine thread screw that has a tiny cut at the end so it can cut its own threads" another self tapping screw" might help to determine what its there for. from all the parts info on your axle i can find it shows nothing of this screww/bolt, even though its there.
i did some lookinga nd the only thig i can find is on golfcarts plus direct NOT A SPONSOR that i know of, shows on a electric axle, there a plug in the same tube. same spot. it has a part number of 1012682 and runs around 2 to 3 bucks. and the serial number range is from a8405-5097 and a88611-90299.

Check the vent and make sure it's not stopped up as well.

Mine has 2 vents, one right above and behind the shifter, and another under the shift cable bracket.
