Question Removing V-Twin Flywheel

I need help on removing the Briggs & Stratton V-Twin 16HP Flywheel, I got the nut off and so its just not comming off. Do I just keep pulling on the flywheel and hit it to get it off. Here is a picture of the flywheel. Oh, the engine is complete, I just took it all apart cause it needs to be rebuilt actually just the engine needs to be Bored with new over sized pistons, so I'm getting it bored asap and get new pistons with rings and such...

Anyways, please help me out on the flywheel... Thanks

I was lucky with my new B & S engine. Loosened the nut and "tapped" on it and the flywheel came loose. Maybe, just maybe some penetrating oil and time and you could do the same. Still use penetraiting oil, then install the nut (to the end of the threads) then use a "puller" ( see the 2 treaded holes in the flywheel ? In your picture they'd be the ones closest to the crankshaft , at 1 o'clock and 7 o'clock) and force the flywheel off the crankshaft (with it's keyed and tapered shaft). Good luck

I got it off, and it was all good. I completely cleaned the motor and the wheel
and so I just have to wait a little to get the engine bored and get new pistons and such.
