Default How much fuel?

I have a 92 CC that isnt running right, while checking it, it looks like the fuel filter is very close to being empty when the motor is running. How "full" should the filter be if the pump is working properly?

Thanks. It just looked very close to being empty when it was sitting there idling. I checked it again after driving it around and it seemed about half full. Didnt know if that was a sign of the pump going bad.

Thanks for the info.

It is a cart I just picked up. It was having issues starting and once it was running it wasnt happy. When it was running the "close to empty" fuel filter just struck me as odd. It does appear to be pumping enough fuel (took the line off the carb, stepped on pedal to turn motor over, fuel pulsed out) so that should be ok.
I drained the old fuel out of the tank and cleaned out the carb. It is doing better but still not perfect. I'm not the first person inside the carb...it looks like someone tried to clean it with a hammer and a screwdriver at some point in it's lifetime.

I'm wandering why my cc has two fuel filters? Not to steal your thread but is this normal?

No worries on the Hijack... I too have seen "Tune up kits" offered with two filters. I never remembered seeing the second filter on my cart. I just double checked an it only has one between the pump and the carb. Is there supposed to be a second one? if so, where would it go?

On the newer carts, there is a fuel filter between the tank and pump...
then another between the pump and carb!
