modified snubber mount
ok, i have a 1996 clubcar with a 6" all sports lift, 10" rims,22" tires.
when i lifted it, i started to realize that the oil light was coming on. i then heard that when you lift these carts, the motor is unlevel. ive seen some people modding the motor pan where in connects to the snubber. how do they do this, and how many inches do i have to raise/lower the motor in the front? any appreciated |

Re: modified snubber mount
another thing that helps with the oil light is synthetic oil. it flows more freely in the engine. if you check the angle of a stock cart(sorry i don't have one) you could try to match that?

Re: modified snubber mount
i have a 92 gasser with lift and i modified snubber very simpy. works very well. just used one of my endlinks from my front leaf spring on my 8" allsport lift. sooner or later u learn that the front leave wont cut it on the trail. asyou can see keeps the engine pan level and still flexes well.

Re: modified snubber mount
i just figured it out! i cut the old mount off the eengine pan, put it on top of the pan instead of the bottom and u-bolted it to the top of the tubing on the engine pan. use 1 1/8 u-bolts.... works good, and drops the motor about 2", and its adjustable
