Clutch engagement question - CLUNK
Hi all,
I have a 97 CC that has a freshly rebuilt clutch that has been machined and has the spring from Cart Part Plus. When starting from a stop the engine starts, then accelerates, then the clutch engages with a pretty abrupt cluck, and the cart jerks to a start. Did I do this to myself by getting the clutch spring? is there a way to lessen the abrupt launch? I might just have to buy a stock spring and try that, as the launch is a bit much to take on the pavement. Thanks |
