Default Micro switches

HEY GUYS,
could you tell me what the micro switches are for on the F&R lever. and can I bypass them too! any comments would help and did anybody ever do this??

The bottom one is for engaging the solenoid, and the top one is for I cant remember. Dont bypass them as it just makes more work.

just wondering....if disconnecting the buzzard switch will make it quiet onlt in reverse(hunting purpose only) and whats wrong with just connecting the limit switch together , how could that make more work-just wondering???? please tell me if this would hurt..

Disconnecting the buzzer wont hurt anything as mine is disconnected as well.

To answer your question , yes. You can bypass them. Their only function is to ensure the safety of the driver, passengers and bystanders. ....

By using a series of limit switches engineers have made a system so that you have to really mean to go before your cart goes...

You must turn the key on. You must put the cart in gear. And you must press the gas peddle before it will go...... all of this is achieved by limit switches...... so the damed thing doesn't take off and run somebody over when your dog or kid jumps in the cart and falls but first on the gas peddle.... see?

ok- well said. I dont mean to be a wise guy its just upstate hunting I wish to eliminate as many problems as I can but still keep it safe

I see very few micros go bad...... 1 to every 10 solenoids or F&Rs. If they do go bad just pull the 2 wire connectors off of them and slip them one into the other... done deal.

then how come i go to drive my 2001 cc gas cart and i place it in gear(f or r) and place the pedal to start and hear the fuel pump only till i play with the lever and then she starts?
