'89 DS Brake Question
Picked up a stock '89 DS and that sat for years. Did all the usual PM and everything, for the time being, works fine including the brakes.
I'm bringing it to camp that has pretty big hills so I thought it best to do a visual on the brakes. There's plenty of pad, drums are a bit glazed, springs and hardware are in good condition. But on each side only one pad moves when the brake pedal is depressed. Shouldn't both pads move? Appreciate your thoughts! Doug |

Re: '89 DS Brake Question
they should but on lots of carts you can tell they don,t, get a compressor spray everything off dirt, dust, ect than lube up movable parts with some pb blaster and use some grease where the shoes lay against the backing plates.................................
