Please help me decide

I need a new engine and I need it yesterday. Here's the deal. 87 CC with 6" lift, high speed gears and 20x10x8 tires and rims. 9 HP cc flathead now and gutless plus oil leaks.

I doubt if I keep this cart over a year or so.

#1- 16hp Briggs, $650 . No warranty.

#2- 16hp Powermax 21lbs torque $334. 1 year warranty

They have almost identical torqe.

Which one?

Cheap and a one year warranty and you don't plan to keep the cart. Seems simple to me.... but then I'm blonde.

Like Boo said. If your not planning on keeping it that long it would be a situation of do you want to spend more money on it or less money. On resale the Briggs might have a better resale value though.... But if it was me I would personally go with the cheaper motor with the warranty...
