Default noisy gas cart?

I have a sparky club car carouche and love it and want to get another cart to beef up for taking to the tree stand etc. I always thought that gassers were noisy, but I saw a CC gasser the other day that was really quiet. Are they all pretty quiet or do you need a good muffler or something to make it quiet.

Thanks all.

Now why is that Tom ? Mine is like a ghost, very smooth and quiet but as fast as I need to go when required whereas others are noisier at any given speed. Mine has the valves set to spec (as do others ) and yet my cart just whispers along its own sweet way. It's noticeable to other folks who ride on my cart but I can't pin down the reason. They comment on how easy my cart is on the ear and are astonished at how powerful she is but i'm darned if I can replicate this on other folks vehicles. Are the tolerance factors just better on mine compared to others; did I just get lucky or am I missing something here ?
Kiss of death, it'll probably blow up tomorrow

Chris.
