I think my tires have another year of life in them, so I'm going to put that off and will probably just buy some hubcaps. I'd rather not lift it, so in the meantime I'm keeping a lookout for wheels/tires with enough profile to add some cushion. The wheels on your Lotus look really good.

At the price of those lights, have you thought about adding another set? They probably would be more for aesthetics, but they could serve as "brights"...

That gave me an idea - I might play around with adding some lights to the reverse buzzer circuit to use as back-up lights. My typical parking spot is at a curb with a 6' drop to Lake Erie, so light from even a set of LED lights could help reduce the chance of my cart becoming an amphibian. (it happens every summer to someone - usually a rental cart lol)

My next project is going to have some molded in motorcycle lights. There are some great looking units out there that can be had from wrecked bikes for not to many pennies. Re the wheels, I couldn't pass up the deal. $350, tires mounted and included the chrome lug nuts, chrome valve stems and chrome centres with free S+H . An indulgence perhaps but considering the cost of buying new tires, having them mounted etc etc it was a great deal and sets off the cart very nicely imho.

Looking forward to tracking your progress! I have a great color option for you if you need suggestions...how about Scarlet and Gray?

Can me posted on your "learnings" ...I'll need all the suggestions I can get. I hope to see your cart ON THE ISLAND and not off C dock!

Hmmm, that would've been another way to go, but since I had all this extra Maize & Blue paint....

JUST KIDDING! I'm pretty sure putting a cart like that on SBI would result in a I.E.D. being planted on 'er before Memorial Day.

So far, the plan is dark blue with silver trim.

Not much to look at, but here's the current state. The body has been sanded down. I decided against filling the holes and will instead paint the rear fender scuff guards and re-install them (I think).

OH MY! The JOhn Cooper Years! I tried to forget those years.
PIB - I agree....subtle paint on PIB is probably a good idea.

I think we may need to start a GOLF CART Parade on Sunday's after the antique car parade.
Looking good on the rehab....keep the updates coming!
