Default Removing 06 Precedent clutch

Can anyone tell me what procedure to use to remove the clutch from my 06 precedent? Looks to me as if there is no way to get it off without dropping the engine.
Thanks

When I removed the clutch on my precedent I had to drop the engine. It is not too complex of a process, it just takes a little time. I have attached a service manual for a 2005 DS (it seems to be pretty similar) which is what i used to help me remove my clutch, look at pages 127-133. It does say that you need all of these special tools, the only special thing you need is a clutch puller.

Thanks for the info, Icould not see any way to remove the clutch without droping the engine. The manual will be invaluable. Thanks again.

All you need to do is take the bolts out of the spring shackles, remove the lower shock nuts, and jack the body of the car up and let the powertrain drop down. It will tilt back at an angle and you'll be able to get right to the clutch bolt.

You're thinking of a DS car. The ground wire on a Precedent runs through the main harness.

Thanks for the service manual. I have a 272 but the information is great for general maintenance.
