Is it still an '02?
Tongue in Cheek
My CC started its life in '02. However, after replacing springs, generator/starter, headlamps, micro switches, key switch, voltage regulator, battery, tires; shocks; lifting it; adding/building on a utility box; (others have done FAR more [to their carts] with engines, et al); IS IT STILL "JUST AN '02"? At what point does a modified cart no longer belong in the same class as it's year of manufacture? When does it graduate? How many modifications does it require to "upgrade" a cart to an altogether different "beast"? What class does it acquire at that time? By what name are these Modified's called? |

Re: Is it still an '02?
When a cart built in 02 is stropped to the frame rebuilt from the ground up including every bushing spring shock and steering component, the brakes and cables are replaced and every piece of rubber and plastic is replaced it is considered refurbished. Then it would be considered an 2002 refurbished in 2011 or such. But it never stops being the year it was made, hope this helps.
